It all started with a small pastry shop in Zurich in 1845.
The owners decided to work chocolate and, in particular – taking a cue from the fashion that came from Italy – to make bars, before then chocolate was known exclusively as a drink.
They later bought Rodolphe Lindt’s famous brand, along with his secrets for melting chocolate. Today these innovations continue to live on in Lindor, a hard shell that wraps around a creamy chocolate filling.
